God’s Looking For You

Isaiah 50:2-3   Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer?  Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?  Or have I no power to deliver?  Behold, by my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a desert; their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.  I clothe the heavens with blackness and make sackcloth their covering.”

God wants us to look to Him and rely on HIm for our answers.  He doesn’t want to come looking for you and find you off doing something else or relying on someone or something else.  Our God is a mighty God who is still able to deliver and to meet all of your needs whether material, physical, emotional or spiritual if you seek Him.  He doesn’t look around and think, ‘well I have other people I can take care of’ He hurts when you don’t rely on Him.  God’s desire is to be needed by us and to be loved and pursued by us.  One of the greatest ways we can show Him our love is to fully rely on Him no matter what we are facing.

If you are having a rough time today, wrap yourself up in His love.  Allow Him to just surround you with His love and confidence that His plan is for your good.  Expect His deliverance and provision for whatever your needs are.  Allow HIm to show Himself mighty in your situation and give HIm glory!  How much better will your days be if you trust Him to give you victory in what you are facing so you can keep saying, “do it again, do it again!”

Maybe today you are not really facing anything monumental in your life and things seem to be running somewhat smoothly.  That is awesome!  Don’t miss Him in it all though, take the time to spend some extra time with HIm enjoying all that He has done and is doing!  Take the time to be thankful!  Take the time to allow Him to love on you today as well – trust me you still need it!  In order to show others love the way we should even when things are going well we need God to love through us.  Too often we become complacent and sometimes judgmental of others when things start to go well for us instead of thinking, “but by the grace of God – there go I”  When you are in a position to look around and help others, whether by being a listening ear or getting in and getting dirty to help, physically or financially don’t miss it.  God has placed you where you are to serve others not just sit up high thanking God you aren’t in their shoes.  God is the God who delivers but He still often uses natural means (you and I) to do it.  Don’t miss the opportunity.

I would encourage you today to ask God in what areas you need to trust Him more?  Ask Him to fill you with His love and confidence and then walk in it.  Know that the God of all has all that you are facing in His hands and He will take care of every detail.  God is good, God is always good and the best is yet to come!
