Job 23: 8-10
“Behold, I go forward, but he is not there, and backward, but I do not perceive him; on the left hand when he is working, I do not behold him; he turns to the right hand, but I do not see him. But he knows the way that I take, when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.”

The book of Job can be a tough read, his suffering overwhelms me and his “friends” are walking hand in hand with Satan to torment him even more! No one wants hard times to come, but unfortunately as long as we are on this earth, hard times come to everyone! You may not see the difficult times someone else has, but believe me every one has them.

It is easy to get down when life gets ugly to feel as though God is somehow no where to be found. Everywhere you turn, you are feeling alone just like Job stated in the first verses here, but notice what Job understood; even though he couldn’t seem to see God no matter where he turned, he understood that God was still working and he knew that no matter what, God still knew where he was. God knows where you are today, He hasn’t forgotten. He is still working even though you don’t see it. You are not alone! You are loved and He cares and He will see you through if you will just hold on and trust Him!

I don’t believe we have seen the suffering Job saw, Satan really went after Him, but that doesn’t minimize what you are facing! Your struggles are still real and still frustrating, but you are never alone! Hold on to God’s love for you, hold on to your faith and hope in Him and all He has done and will do in your life! God has brought you this far, He will see you through this! Trust Him! When you don’t feel His presence or seem to see Him, know that He knows the path you are on, He cares, He sees and He will take care of you!

He sees you! The God of All, sees you! He loves you and cares about you and He has, since before you were born! He formed you with His tender loving care in your Mama’s womb and if you will just trust Him, He will continue to form you into all He created you to be! The best is yet to come!
