John 14:6,  Jesus said to him,  “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”  

One of the great things about the Vacation Bible School that my grandchildren attended last week was that they offer a Faith 101 class on Saturday for anyone wanting more information about salvation and Baptism.  It was also awesome to hear them explain to the kids in that class that it doesn’t just end with accepting Jesus as your Savior and getting baptized, you can have a relationship with Him and the way to do that is to get to know Him by spending time learning at church, and with your parents, and by reading your Bible.  That’s a great lesson for everyone!

Jesus is the way!  He is the way to God the Father, to heaven, and to your walk here in life!  The closer you walk with Him, and know Him the more others will recognize Him in your life.  Jesus loves you and His desire is for you to walk in all that He created you to be so you can become all He created you to be and do.  No matter where you are or where you have been, He wants to work in your life and He wants to use your story to glorify Him.  If you are walking closely with Him then when your whole world seems to flip upside down and darkness is all around, you can still rest in the confidence that He is there and He will guide you through everything that comes your way because He is the way!  So, how can you have His peace and His direction in all that you do?  Stick close to Him and even if all Hell comes against you, you can know that it “has come to pass” and He will get you through to the other side if you just cling to Him.  

He is the One Who will give you life after all of the life seems to have been sucked out of you by the world and storms that come your way.  He is the one who makes beauty out of ashes and can restore your Joy and heal your wounded or totally shattered heart!  He loves you beyond measure, beyond anything you can comprehend, and beyond anything else you can experience here on earth!  Choose to walk with Him today knowing then that no matter what may come your way, truly HIs best is yet to come!
