He Sees You… You Can Find Rest and Peace In Him

Psalm 46:10,  He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

That verse pretty much covers it all, but I feel we need to cover a couple areas that God has put on my heart:

For one, I noticed that we have a prayer request about being afraid of dying.  For some reason, it wasn’t letting me log in to respond on the website so I figured maybe there are others out there as well that need this.  If you have had a moment in your life when you have acknowledged that Jesus is the Son of God and that we were all born in sin because of the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden, so you understood that you are a sinner the only way we get to Heaven is by accepting Jesus as our Savior.  Jesus died on the cross for our sin (someone had to die for your sin and He chose to take your place).  If you will accept or have accepted that gift of salvation from Him then you become a child of God.  He loves you and in John 14:2, “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were no so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”  When Jesus died for our sins, He rose again from the dead, conquering death and sin, He walked the earth and talked and ate with people, and then He went to Heaven to prepare a place for us when we die.  Hell was created for satan and the angels that fell with him and it is not God’s desire that anyone else would go there that is why He offers us His salvation.  If you haven’t accepted Him as your Savior I would encourage you to do it right now.  I am including a simple prayer at the end of this.  Keep in mind too that when Jesus was dying on the cross, one of the thieves that were on one of the other crosses next to Him said, “remember me when you enter your kingdom” and Jesus told him, “today you will be with me in paradise.”  Heaven is real and so is Hell and it is a choice.  Satan would like you to live in fear, but God has provided a way so you can live in faith.

No matter what you are facing today, God sees and He wants you to rest in the fact that He is God.  Give all of your cares to Him.  Trust Him!  Has He given you promises?  Cling to those!  You may not see Him working, but He is!  Ask Him to remind you of things He has done and to help you recognize all of the things He is doing now.  Are you overlooking the little things?  Often it’s the little things that encourage me the most!  He sees you and He calls you by your name.  Are you listening?  Are you resting in Him or trying to frantically do it all yourself?  Stop a minute and just breathe.  Relax and know that it’s all little stuff to Him, nothing is too difficult and you matter to Him more than you know.  No one else was made out of some sort of special mud.  You matter!  He wants to use your story!  Seek His face and wait on Him.  He’s got you!

We all need to be taking the time to pray for each other.  Lifting each other up in prayer is such a special privilege and it is something we just don’t do enough of.  I would encourage you today to make a list and take the time each day to pray.  If you don’t schedule time for prayer and reading the Word it won’t happen because satan will fight you every step of the way.  Draw close to God and watch as He draws close to you.  He loves you and He is working all of the time.  Trust Him!

Quote:  You have said, “Seek my face.”  My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”  Psalm 27:8

PRAYER:  “Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin.  Please forgive me for my sin.  Come into my life.  I receive you as my Lord and Savior.  Now help me to live for you the rest of my life.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen!

If you pray that prayer today please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I would love to be praying for you and answering any questions you may have.
