He Wants You To Feel Alive, Not Just Survive

Ephesians 2:4-5,  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespass, made us alive together with Christ.

We miss so much it seems because we are either so busy or often so consumed with things that we miss out really, on the life God has for us.  He doesn’t want you to live a life full of fears or anxiety, or depression.  He wants you to live a life that is full of Him and His confidence peace and love and the only way to have that is to walk closely with Him.

We are so used to the concept that if you want it done, and especially if you want it done “right”, then do it yourself.  Well, when it comes to God it is the opposite of that and most of us struggle to do that.  He loves you so much and He wants to walk with you.  God actually enjoys doing simple little things in your life to bless you ~ are you missing seeing them?  One of my favorite flowers are daisies and one morning when the day already seemed a bit overwhelming I looked out the front window and there was a beautiful bouquet of daisies on the edge of the road across from our house.  Just one bunch right there in full view from the house.  I could look at that and think it was just a coincidence, but to me it was a simple blessing of God ~ it made my day.  Are you missing seeing the little things He is doing to show you He sees you, and He cares, and He wants to walk with you closer than anyone ever has?  He loves you!

Think about life in the Garden of Eden.  It was peaceful and fun and full of walking with God and there was no anxiety or depression.  God walked with them.  It was when they chose to do their own thing that they didn’t have that anymore.  Jesus died on the cross so you can have that in your life regardless of what satan brings your way.  You can walk with HIs spirit living in you and walking with you every step of every day.  Life can be overwhelming and the world is upside down and crazy, but you can be confident with Him by your side.  You must choose to walk with Him though.  You may need a good godly counselor to help guide you through things in order to sort things out and that is perfectly ok, just make sure that anything that anyone is advising you to do lines up with the Word of God.

God’s desire is to walk with you and guide you and the toughest part of that really is giving up your agenda and trusting Him and His Word.  He wants you to feel alive, not just survive each day. It is a daily thing to ask Him to guide you and give you the confidence and attitude you need to become all He created you to be.  He created you with a purpose and it takes being willing to put your “yes” on the table and allowing Him, no holds barred, to use you and your story to glorify Him.  Our purpose here on earth is to glorify God in all that we do so others are drawn to Him.  Satan wants you to think that if you give God everything and allow Him to do what He desires in your life that somehow that is going to be “less than” or painful and yet God is the one who created you for a purpose and the one who loves you more than mere words can possibly say. God is the one who wants to do things in and through you that are beyond anything you can possibly comprehend or imagine ~ how could that possibly be bad?  Don’t get me wrong, life here on earth is not going to be easy, but would you rather go it alone or learn to trust the one who holds you in the palm of His hand?  Trust Him!  Give it all to Him and constantly ask Him to help you to give everything to Him allowing Him to do what He sees best.  Remember His love for you ~ look for Him in everything good. Know that whatever you may face in life He wants to guide you and walk with you.  Seek His face so that when storms come your way you are secure in your walk with Him.   Ask Him to help you see and comprehend His love for you!  Follow Him and you will find that His best is yet to come!
