He Will Give You The Strength To Do What He Has Called You To Do

Ruth 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will parish.  And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this.

This was Mordecai speaking to Esther, his niece the Queen, after Haman had been allowed by the king to make a decree to kill all the Jews.  The king didn’t realize that his Queen Esther was a Jew as well and Haman had lied to him about why the Jews needed to be destroyed.  Esther was afraid to go into the Kings court because without an invitation if he was in a bad mood that day she could be killed, (if you ever feel your husband is unapproachable or doesn’t really know you, read the book of Esther!) so she didn’t really want to go and talk to him about what was going on but Mordecai was right, if she hadn’t done it God would have still taken care of the Jews through someone else but she and her family could have been killed.  Her being Queen was not just a mere coincidence, God had ordained her being there and used her to save the Jews!  Even though she was the Queen her life was not always easy. Where are you right now?
If you are in the will of God and you know it and there are things that make you uncomfortable whether it is because you don’t feel qualified, or maybe you think if you say something that you know needs to be said you will lose face or maybe your job, you need to stop and pray because it may be that God put you where you are “for such a time as this”.  Doing what is right and doing the will of God isn’t always easy or without some things that might make you hesitate, but you have to remember that if He called you to do it, He’s got your back!!  Look at David when he went up against Goliath, everyone around him was scared and yet he believed that God would have his back and he went out there with the confidence that if God was asking Him to do it, He would take care of Him in the process.
God took care of Esther and the Jews and He will take care of you and will give you the strength to do what He has asked you to do, believe Him and trust Him to have your back.  Life is not just full of mere coincidences, there is a well thought out plan for your life that God is working to fulfill, trust Him to complete that plan in you!
