His Desire Is To Walk Closer With You Through Life

Isaiah 55:6,  “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”

We all want to be seen and known and loved.  When you fall in love with someone usually your heart’s desire is to know every detail about them and your desire is for that person to care enough to know everything about you as well.  Some people even go through the questions game on dates getting to know little details about each other.  Well, God’s desire is for you to want to know Him that way as well. He wants to be the absolute love of your life so that any other love will just be the icing on the cake.

God loves you and He knows details about you that you don’t even know yourself and He wants to be involved in your life on a deeper level than anyone or anything else.  He has pursued you with great love and He wants you to seek Him and know Him in order to grow in your relationship with Him.  The more time we spend with Him the more we become like Him and the more other people will see Him in us!

Life is full of surprises, some are good and some are horrifying!  You don’t have to face either alone!  God wants to celebrate with you and He wants to be there when you can’t hold your head up in order to see which way to turn.  God is a very personal God, He is not just sitting up there wanting to keep to Himself, He wants to walk with you through this life, through the good, the bad, and the ugly!  God has a great sense of humor and He loves to see you laugh.  It is not His desire for you to be anxiety-ridden or depressed, He wants to fill you with HIs joy.  He wants you to seek Him because knowing Him is what will make life bearable when everything around you seems to be going wrong!  He doesn’t want you to be lonely, He is by your side and He wants you to experience the fullness of His presence in your life.

I would like to encourage you to seek God with your whole heart.  Ask Him today what His dreams are for your life and what you need to do.  Ask Him to show you what you may need to add or remove from your life in order to become all that He created you to be.  Ask Him to fill you with His love and grace in all that you do knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
