Psalm 138:8
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Hold on, keep following Him and trust Him that as He has said, “He will fulfill His purpose for you!” No matter what things look like right here and right now, He still has a plan! Have you ever deep cleaned your house? I am sure you have, and you know how usually it has that “looks worse, before better stage”? Life can be the same way! When God starts moving things around to get things in the order they need to be in and He starts shaking your life up a bit, there are times it “looks worse, before it looks better”! I don’t know about you, but more often than not, I learn some of my biggest lessons through some of my toughest situations. I wish that weren’t the case and I am not sure if I am just too stubborn to learn any other way or what, but that’s the way it is.

No matter where you are, no matter what you have done and no matter what anyone else may tell you ~ God has a purpose for you and He will fulfill it! He loves you and as it says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Why would you ever want any other plan than the one He has for you?

I would like to encourage you today to be stubborn, hold on to what you know to be true and that is that God has a plan for where you are and He alone knows what lies ahead. Like Job, hold on to this, Job 23:10, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I will come forth as gold!” You can do this! He will give you all that you need to get through to the other side! The best is yet to come!
