His Heart Is Moved By Your Praise

Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise!   Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the Lord is good;  His steadfast love endures forever, And His faithfulness to all generations.

Here in the United States Thanksgiving is fast approaching.  This has been one crazy year!  Even if you don’t live in the U.S. you can still enjoy setting aside a time of thankfulness in your house.  Thanksgiving here is a huge deal and it should be.  We should be thankful all year round, but there’s something to be said for setting aside a day to focus on all that God has done.  You see that done over and over in the Bible where God had the Israelites set aside a particular day of the week or year and remember.

I love Psalm 100!  It is a great Psalm to commit to memory because the words of this Psalm should be our attitude all year round.  Not only is God moved by your praise, but your faith is also moved by your praise of Who God is!  Praise and worship should be something that just flows from our hearts because God is just so amazing and His love for us is beyond anything we can comprehend!  God is faithful and He sees all you have faced and all you are going through today and He is faithful!  Trust Him and praise His name, don’t allow satan to discourage you today.  He is the father of lies and he really is afraid of all that God may do in and through you if you open yourself up to what God is doing.  The struggle is real but you can trust God to bring you through to the other side.  Turn on some praise and worship music and memorize this Psalm so you can ward off all of satan’s lies.

Take the time today to praise God for who He is!  Thank Him for His faithfulness!  Remind yourself that no matter how crazy things may seem, He has a plan and you can trust Him. Truly His best is yet to come!
