Isaiah 40:28-31
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Are you just so weary of it all that you just don’t feel you have the strength to fight for “it” just one more day? Trust me, I get it, but God wants to give you His strength! He wants you to win this! He wants you to just hold on to Him and wait for Him so He can make you soar in life!

So often I have found myself jumping ahead or explaining to God, “yeah, yeah, I get it …. soar like an eagle, just wait, but I am sick of waiting and I don’t care and I can’t take any more, so I will just do it myself, my way.” Usually after a little bit of wallowing and struggling to do it myself, making a bigger mess along the way, I hear that quiet voice saying, “so, how’s that working for you there girl? Are you ready to wait on me and allow me to guide you to what I have planned because victory is only found in me and my courts!” How many times do we need to make that mistake before we totally give it all to Him and do it His way without holding anything back!

He is the creator of all the earth, His understanding is unsearchable and it is only God who can and will give you the strength you need, so I am not real sure why we often choose to go it alone or look else where for our answers! So, take one day at a time and ask Him for His answers and strength for today. No matter what your struggle is; finances, addictions, problems in your marriage or with your children, or needing a job, you can know that He’s got this and He will give you the strength and answers you need if you will just trust Him and wait on Him! Do it His way and wait on Him and you will find that His best is yet to come! You are closer than you think!
