Job 19:25
“For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;”

Where do you find hope, when you feel as though there is no hope? How do you give hope to others when they feel there is no hope? What happens when you sink down to the depths of feeling as though you have no drive for life any more ~ where can you find that drive and excitement for life again? Let me tell you…… it is found in the fact that Your Redeemer Lives!

I have been to that place, where I was so down that it was difficult to even look up, and the only thing that lifted me up out of feeling that way was knowing how much my God loves me! He cares, we have verse after verse telling us how much He cares so we can always have hope when there seemingly is no hope. Luke 1:37, “For Nothing will be impossible with God.” There’s nothing you can face that He can’t handle or get you through. One of the many reasons it is important for us to be in our Bibles every day is to remind us of all of the stories of the past of how God delivered His people and how His grace and love and strength can get you through anything. Read the Psalms and see how David in the depths of despair and anguish would reach out to God because He knew that God would deliver him and that God cared for Him.

Psalm 118:5, “Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.” Hold on to your hope in Him today, call out to God and tell Him all that you are facing, ask Him for His strength and direction for the day. Ask Him to fill you with hope and vitality for life again. You may have to pray that every day for a year, but you watch and see how He brings life back to you again if you will just take that time to trust in Him and allow Him to be your hope. The best is yet to come, just hold on to your hope in God today, have the faith that He will carry you through to the other side!
