How Will You Choose to Spend Your Day

Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear and shall trust in the Lord.

God wants to rescue you from whatever pit you feel you are in and if you aren’t in a pit He still wants to bless you while you are on that mountain top! Soak it in and give God glory while He works in and through you because He is in the process of establishing your goings. God is continually going before you preparing your way so if you follow Him the right people are there at the right time in the right place and order will keep you from falling again.

Hard times come to all of us how we handle it is the key. Do people see a frantic you when things are not right or do they see someone whose completed faith and trust is in God? God allows us to keep going through the same learning lessons until we get it right so let’s start focusing today on asking Him what we need to change in how we are handling our situation. If you notice the psalmist says here that God put a new song in his mouth, even praise to God and because he was willing to allow God to move in his life in that way, “many would see it and fear and would trust in the Lord” because of it.

No matter where you are this morning and no matter how your day has started take a moment and ask God if there is anything you need to change in your behavior or attitude so He can have the glory today. Trust me ladies, it is so much easier to turn those frustrated irritating feelings over to God even if they are justified and allow Him to fill you with His power, peace and love! Do it for your sake, don’t allow Satan to rob you of a day God has given you to enjoy!
