If You Want a Better Result ~ Something Has to Change!

by | Mar 9, 2024

Joshua 1:8,  This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.

No matter who you are there is an area in your life that you would like to be better.  Whether it is your job, your marriage, your parenting skills, your finances, your self-control…… there’s always something.  As the old saying goes, if you want a different result, you must learn to do something different.  You cannot keep doing things the same way and expect a different result!  If you keep cooking that egg on high and leaving it there for 10 minutes it will always burn, same thing with anything else.

How much time do you spend in the Word of God?  This verse says to meditate on it day and night, does that seem like too much to you right now?  He is waiting for you there!  Does that make it a little more appealing?  When you stop and think that the purpose of His giving us His word is because He wants to show you His way and HIs answers, but you must dive in and seek Him and His guidance, it should make reading it more important.  He is waiting for you in His Word!  Wow!

The more you pour yourself into spending time in the Word of God, the more you will recognize His answers to all that you face.  The more time you spend with Him the more you will learn to trust Him!  Your success in life is found in His Word!  Your answers to your storms and struggles are found in His Word!  He loves you and He wants to meet you there!  Don’t allow satan to discourage you because you don’t have something jump out at you right away.  See it as a journey that you are taking with Him and He has so much to show you and tell you!  Write down the lessons you learn or the verses you get that speak to you.  Get to know Him and allow His love to flow through you!  Pursue Him with your whole heart and you can know that His best is truly yet to come!
