Is It Your Time…

Esther 4:14,  “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.  And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

No matter where you are in life and no matter what your standing is or your age, this could be your “such a time as this” moment.  God always has more for you to do so whether you just lost your job or your health has been an overwhelming concern or your marriage is a hot mess, God still has plans for you!

God wants to use your story to make a difference in the lives of others.  Will you allow Him to lead you into what He has in store for you?  He may have allowed you to lose that job because He has something so much better for you.  Sometimes it’s possible to get so locked into the idea that no matter how bad a job is you have to work there until God just drags you out of it.  I have friends who have been through more health-wise than most of us could possibly imagine and they see it as their mission field.  They are the most precious faith-filled ladies I know and they are so full of the love of God that the doctors and nurses that work with them are always in awe.  They don’t fuss and complain they are full of God’s joy to the point it puts me to shame.  God is using their story and their faith to make a difference even in other patients.

Take some time and ask God if there’s something you might be missing.  How can you go deeper in your walk with Him and your influence?  He loves you and as it says in Jeremiah 29: 11-13,  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Go for it!  Seek Him with your whole heart!  Ask Him to mighty things in and through you so you can be all He created you to be, knowing that then truly His best is yet to come!
