Revelations 21:5
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Yes, these words are about the prophecy to come and the book of Revelations is prophecy that is not yet fulfilled, but this is the same God yesterday, today and forever and He is all about making things new in your life and mine!

The other night Bill and I were in town having dinner at a local restaurant when a major storm came through and uprooted trees, and caused havoc by taking out power lines and there were bursts of rain that made it impossible to see. One tree fell across Main Street and landed on a car with three people in it, praise God I hear they are ok, but you get the picture….. it was one of those crazy Thunderstorms in Middle Tennessee. The next day Bill and I were sitting on the patio and I was just in awe of how gorgeous the day was, so calm, no rain and there was just a light breeze. I made the comment to Bill that life is so like that at times, one day there is chaos and you wonder if you will survive it and then God steps in and it is a new day and His grace and peace take over!

Today is a new day Ladies and if you will allow Him to, He can make all things new. He can take all of the pain that is in your marriage today and He can heal those hearts and mend what needs to be mended in your relationship! He can take those finances and turn them around if you follow His leading. He is Lord of all and He can handle whatever it is you are facing but you need to trust Him and follow His leading in every thing He asks you to do.

If you are struggling with something from your past, give it to Him and let it go! If you have asked for forgiveness, then don’t allow Satan to beat you up for something that no longer exists in your life. Our past is there for us to learn from it but we are not to live there! In order to move forward in life we have to look ahead to all God is calling us to do and leave the past behind us. God hasn’t called you to your past, He has called you to your future! He has great plans and it is “all hands on deck” so don’t allow your past to keep you from the future He has in store for you!

Today is a new day, fresh with no mistakes in it so take this moment on and live for Him and follow Him, He can and will make all things new!
