Philippians 3:12-14
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me His own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own, But one thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Have you fallen and can’t seem to get up? You’ve worked so hard to do what is right and you’ve slipped and now you feel as though you are back to square one and there is just no hope for you to ever overcome this sin and you feel filthy and worthless.

Maybe that is you, or maybe that is someone you know but whoever it is; do not allow Satan to have that victory! Jesus died on the cross for our sins, every single one of them, ask for forgiveness and pull yourself back up and press forward. Satan would love to see you fall even deeper because you feel like a loser and hopeless, but God created you for more than that! You can succeed and have victory so block out those lies and determine to strain for that finish line before you! Have you ever watched a close race where there are several runners reaching the finish line at the same time; they not only stretch their stride, they strain with their whole body, shoving their chests out straining to cross the line first. You need to be that determined and focused. You must toss aside Satan’s lies that you messed up and you are worthless now, that is a lie straight from Hell! Don’t accept it, accept God’s forgiveness and plan for your life! Make things right with anyone you have sinned against and with God and then press forward!

If you know someone struggling then reach out, remind them of God’s love and forgiveness by being an example of it! Don’t hold hands with Satan by shunning them or condemning them. We are called to be Christlike and He would have lifted them up and helped guide them back to the path they are supposed to be on! Remember the story of the Lost Sheep and how He rejoiced over the return of that one lost sheep, if He has put someone in your path or life that is struggling He may be giving you the opportunity to help bring that “sheep” back to Him!

Rejoice over people coming back to God. Don’t be a part of casting people aside if they are repentant and looking for victory in their lives. Be a part of the battle against Satan! “Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost”, be a part of that victory and honor Him in how you treat others who are struggling!

Quote:
“Courage does not always roar; sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow!”
