Keep Your Focus On Him

Psalm 121: 1-2,  I lift up my eyes to the mountains ~ where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven, and earth.

No matter what type of help you need today you need to fix your eyes on Him.  Whether you need healing, or strength, or freedom from anxiety or depression, or you have a desire or need you have been praying for, or maybe you are consumed with heartache and loss, take it to Him!  He is there to be your help and strength.  He loves you more than you can imagine!  You are precious in His sight.  Focus on Him.

It is so much easier to focus on the issue at hand, believe me, but that is not what is going to help your situation.  Ask God today to help you to focus on Him and to give Him everything you have faced and are facing.  Ask Him to comfort your hurting heart and to give you the strength you need to focus on Him.

I would encourage you to write down some Bible verses that are a comfort or encouragement to you and carry them with you.  Remember Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Take your hands off and trust Him. Seek Him with your whole heart. Believe Him for all He has promised you.  If you know in your heart that He has promised to do something then trust Him to do it.  Remember Abraham, he waited years for God’s promise of a son through Sarah.  God rarely does things in our timing, but He still comes through.  He sees what all needs to be done in the situation so trust Him and His timing.  I know how horribly difficult that can be sometimes, but that is where your trust needs to come in.  Don’t give up.  Use scripture to fight the battle for your mind.  Satan is out to discourage, depress, and cause you to fear, and your greatest weapon to fight all of that is the Word of God.  Write it down and carry it with you!

Nothing is too difficult for the Lord and no one is insignificant in His eyes so go to Him knowing that He loves you more than you can imagine and that is where you will find that truly His best is yet to come!
