So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.”
Even if things don’t look good God will shut the mouth of the Lion and He will bring you out of the troubles and trials you are in. God knows where you are and what you are going through and if you give Him total control of your life like Daniel did then He can do amazing things through and for you.
I doubt any of us have to be concerned about being thrown into the Lion’s Den, but I know sometimes going to work can feel that way! Life can get so crazy at home and at work that sometimes it feels overwhelming! I remember working in an office with 9 women! WOW! It was insane at times and very trying where my faith was concerned. My boss at the time decided she didn’t care for me too much because I was a Christian and she was an atheist. She tried everything under the sun to make my job difficult!
What is it in your life that makes you feel overwhelmed or buried? If you give it all to God, He will help you find your way through! It doesn’t mean it isn’t scary or tough at the time but you can know for sure that He will. There are days that I know part of what overwhelms me is just pure exhaustion and the constantness of life, but that is when I realize that I need to give God my schedule too!
