Romans 5:3-4 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Those everyday frustrations you are dealing with may be more than just frustrations, God may be leaving them in your life to teach you something. That is never pleasant news to hear because I don’t know about you but I would just like all of the frustrations and tribulations to go away, I have enough to do.
It is very rare that we grow on the Mountain tops in our life, it is usually when things are tough and we are struggling that we find ourselves seeking God with more passion than we ever have before. Why do we do that? I am praying that I will develop such a passion for knowing God that I will pursue Him with my whole heart every day of my life, mountain top or valley. Does that mean I will never face tribulations? No, of course not, but I am trusting God that by doing that my tribulations will be easier to bear and I will have a better understanding of how to handle those unexpected situations that just seem to come out of no where!
Perseverance is tough to learn if you don’t ever have to wait for anything. When God gives you a promise of something He is going to do in your life it doesn’t always happen tomorrow and the reason for that is so you will learn to persevere and so you will grow to the point of being able to handle what He is bringing your way. Even if God is bringing something good into your life it doesn’t mean you are spiritually mature enough to handle it yet.
Whatever you are going through today know that God sees you and He is working on you and your situation. Pray that He will reveal to you what it is you need to learn from any given situation and move forward. Remember this “came to pass” your present situation is not your permanent one and the best is yet to come!
