Psalm 121:3  He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.

With all of the craziness going on in the world today, oil spills, earthquakes, tornadoes, wars, shootings, irrational government stunts and the list goes on, life can seem a bit overwhelming once you add your own everyday issues at times.  More and more people are having health problems and a lot of it, doctors say, is due to a lack of sleep, stress and not eating right! Women are becoming the ones more prone to heart attacks!

Give your troubles to God; He’ll be up all night anyway!  You can’t solve all of your problems, but he can so why should you waste your time mulling it all over and losing sleep when THE one who CAN do something about it is already up!?

Have you ever watched the movie or read the book, “Gone With the Wind”?  That is truly one of my favorite movies of all times!  I just love Scarlett!  I know she is a bit full of herself and she really makes some bad decisions, but one of the things she did that I picked up and hung onto over the years was her attitude of, “I’ll think about it tomorrow”!  When she knew she couldn’t handle a situation and she couldn’t “fix” it she would put off worrying about it by saying she would think about it the next day. Life is just that way, single or married, life happens and stress can become overwhelming if we don’t handle it right.  Scarlett didn’t give her problems to God though, she just created new ones for herself by bolting ahead, doing whatever she wanted.

The key is this:  Give the problems to God, Don’t lose sleep over it or waste time worrying about it, do what you are capable of doing and leave the results to God! Easier said than done I know Ladies, but what have you got to lose by at least trying it for the next 30 days.  If it doesn’t work for you after 30 days of practicing giving it to God you can take it back and go back to worrying.   God cares and He loves us and the best is yet to come!

Quote:

Your success or failure in life will not be decided by the number of setbacks you encounter, but rather how you react to them.
