Philippians 1:9-10
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,”
There are so many quotes and Bible verses on Love I could fill up several Bible Studies with them and nothing else! Love is important to all of us! God has placed a need in us to love and be loved. Have you ever known someone or maybe you even have someone in your life right now that doesn’t seem to know how to show love?
I truly believe your “love meter” or your ability to love others is directly proportionate to your relationship with God. The more you allow God to work in and through you the more you are capable of loving others. The more you are full of yourself and what is important to you the less you are capable of loving others. In fact the more you are full of God the more desire you have to gain knowledge and insight and the stronger your desire is to be pure and blameless.
Christ was and is our example. When He was here on earth He lived a totally selfless life right down to giving God the Father all the glory for everything. He loved everyone and hated sin for the destruction it had on their lives.
The more time you spend in the WORD and praying for God to fill you with His desires and goals for your life and to just fill you with His love for others the more others will see more of Him and less of you! Funny thing about that is that the more of Christ they see in you the more they will want to be around you!
So it’s time ladies to decide what you want to be full of: yourself or God! What is your goal today, is it to please yourself or Him? God made you beautiful let it be seen from the inside out!
