Psalm 94:18-19
“When I said, “My foot is slipping”, your love, O Lord, supported me.  When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”

Who do you turn to when you are having a bad day or when you feel like you are losing that battle with an addiction and you can feel yourself slipping?  God is waiting to help, you just need to cry out to Him, tell Him that you’re slipping or you are having a rotten day.  Bind Satan by the blood of Jesus and ask God to build a wall of protection around you with His angels to keep you from those attacks by Satan and his evil buddies.  Put on some good music, and trust God that His love will support you and that He will replace that anxiety about whatever it is with Joy!

We all have things in our lives that we would do well to start off our day asking God to bless our day and to build that wall of protection around us before we start struggling.  I love that little poem that gets passed around email every once in a while that talks about how, So far today Lord I haven’t said any unkind words, today or been mean, I haven’t lost the battle with any addictions in my life, and it goes on and on like that and then says, but Lord I am about to get out of bed this morning and after that I am going to need all the help I can get!  That’s how we need to begin the day, don’t even give the day a chance to get out of control, ask God for His help before it begins!
