John 8:31b-32, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

FREEDOM!  Everyone wants to be free! Free to worship God, freedom from abuse, freedom from addiction, freedom in our finances, the list goes on and on, and for every single one of those things on the list, the answers are only found in the Word of God.  We have the world’s answers sitting in our hands, how selfish would it be to hold back from sharing?  Satan is fighting harder than ever and we need to rise up as warriors and fight back!  As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  It is the combination of those things that makes what we say and do effective.  Don’t be hateful sharing the Word of God.  I have seen posts on Social Media or signs in front of churches that I just stop and have to ask myself how on earth they think that will draw anyone to God.  I am not saying we need to be politically correct either ~ those words make me sick!  We aren’t to be “politically correct” ~ we are to stand on the Word of God correct but for Pete’s sake do it in a way that also reflects God’s love for them!  If you pray about what to say God will guide you.  I literally pray on a regular basis for God to create in me a clean heart and a right attitude and Psalm 19:14, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”  I know I can’t do it on my own and neither can you.  We have to open ourselves up to having Him give us His Words and attitude in every situation.  

This is truly our “such a time as this”!  The Lord is coming soon, evidence is all around us.  Look at those children on College campuses with their anti-semitic protests, oh my word, they have no idea what they are doing and they need to know Jesus!  Someone needs to teach them and show them the way!  We need to have a heart that sees lost people as needing Jesus instead of looking at them in judgment.  Believe me, if they don’t come to Him they will know His judgment, we don’t have to try to give it to them now, we need to show them His truth so they can be free from the hold satan has on them.  That jerk is fighting to take every soul he can to hell and we need to fight with the power of God that is in us to save them from his grasp.  You can’t successfully fight FOR someone if you hate them.  It’s just like those people who have done you wrong…. Are you praying for them?  God has each of us living in these end times for a reason and it isn’t just for us to ride along making sure we don’t ruffle anyone’s feathers, and it isn’t a time to become complacent or the opposite ~ judgmental jerks, it is a time when we need to fight by standing on God’s Word.  Something I always tell Abby is, “What do you want Him to find you doing when He comes?  What do you want Him to say when He talks to you afterward about how you spent your time?”  I personally don’t want to miss an opportunity to impact others in a way that will lead them to Him.  I really believe we don’t have a lot of time and we need to make use of every opportunity He gives us.  

I would like to challenge us all today to ask God for more boldness.  Boldness that is so intertwined with His love, mercy, and grace that other people will not be able to ignore the difference and they will know it has to be God in us.  My heart is so burdened over where we have arrived.  People are so lost, angry, and hurting they are looking in the strangest places for answers and satan is right there willing to help them find anything but the truth.  Children are so confused on so many levels and they need to be protected from all of the lies.  We need to fight for them.  They desperately need to be taught about Jesus!  If you need a place to start you can always volunteer on some level at your church.  Most churches here in the U.S. have vacation Bible school coming up and there are always many ways to serve there.  Churches are always even looking for someone to greet people at the door. Maybe it’s time to start that Bible Study group or lead a small group at your church.  There’s always an area to serve God if you ask Him to show you He will be happy to.  Let’s determine today to rise up as the Warriors of God that He has called us to and let’s determine to share Him with this lost and hurting world so they can know that truly His best is yet to come!
