Let’s Make It Obvious!

Acts 4:13. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished.  And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

That’s what I want in my life!  I want to spend so much time in the Word of God that it is obvious in my life that I have “been with Jesus”!  I want His love, grace, and mercy to be so evident that it draws others to Him!  I want to be so filled with His Spirit that He just oozes out of me in all that I do so others will see Him!

The only way we can be like Him is to spend more time with Him.  Have you ever noticed how older couples start to even look alike after years of being together?  Somehow, they just look like they match, there’s no separating them!  That’s how we need to be with our Lord!  We need to ask Him to pour into us, holding nothing back, so He is obvious in our lives!  We need to spend so much time with Him that we look like Him!

God loves you and wants to pour into you!  He wants you to be successful in all that He calls you to!  He wants to carry you through the heartaches and frustrations in life!  He never wants you to feel alone, in fact, it is just the opposite!  He wants you to be so full of Him that even other people can sense that you are not alone, the God of all loves you and is with you and is evident in your life!  As it says in Luke 11:11-13, “If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?  Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”  God wants to fill you completely with Himself and that is what will give you the strength to face another day when it seems there is no way.  That is what will guide you to do all that He has for you to do.  That is what will bring miracles into our lives!  It is all found, only, in spending time with Him!

Trust Him today, spend time with Him, seek Him with your whole heart, and ask Him to guide you, knowing that His best is yet to come!
