Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
Are you faced with some tough decisions or maybe a really tough situation today? I would encourage you to seek Godly counsel, obviously, according to this verse there are times when your situation may require a multitude of counselors, not just one but be careful who you are talking to. Make sure that the people you are looking to for godly advice and counsel truly have a heart after god. More often than not we tend to seek out our friends and sometimes that may be good but really make sure you are seeking godly counsel not just counsel.
During those times of waiting on God when you are overwhelmed and you aren’t sure you are on the right track take the time to be in His word, on your knees and seeking counsel from the most godly people you know.
There are times we all need outside input we just need to be sure we are finding it in the right places. Remember King Rehoboam, Solomon’s son who took the counsel from his friends instead of the godly older men that were there to guide him and he chose the wrong path. (1 Kings 12)
Seek God first and ask Him who you need to counsel with. Make your decisions carefully and with the most godly counsel you can find. Pray, spend time in His word and then move forward with the confidence of knowing you are following Him!

It is kind of ironic that you wrote and posted this today, and the reason I said that is because today I felt God leading me to shut down my Facebook page. I am a Facebook addict and I felt God leading me to pray when I wanted to go to Facebook and I have spent a lot of time praying today and listening to God. I have so many areas in my life where I need God to lead me. I will have my bachelor degree in Human Service Management on September 9, 2013. I feel like God is leading me to help victims of human trafficking and to have the support of my church, which I’m not sure I do and before I leave my church to find another one I am praying for the answer. I have been seeking counsel from my Christian friends and after reading this post and praying I know I have to go and talk to my pastor.
I also just found your website today, isn’t it just amazing how God works. Thank you for writing your blog and I am also thankful that your blog is mention on the JoyFM that is how I found this site.
