Mountain Top or Valley ~ He Wants To Teach You…

by | Jun 3, 2021

Psalm 25:4-5,  Make me know your ways, Adonai, teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth, and teach me; for you are the God who saves me, my hope is in you all the day long.

Regardless of where you are today, God wants you to seek Him and His path for your life.  So, whether you are enjoying a relaxing vacation or you are feeling the weight of the storms raging around you ~ seek Him.

God is your hope and it is as important to seek His face when everything is going right as it is when everything is going wrong, if not maybe even more so.  The majority of our spiritual growth comes when we are going through rough times.  Part of the reason for that is because we are pushed to seek Him.  How much could we be growing on a daily basis if we were to do as it says in Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  You can never spend too much time in the Word of God if you want to follow Him in your life.  He has given us His Word and He has given us His Spirit so we can live the life He created us to live for Him.  You can’t box in the Holy Spirit and tell Him that He can only have this little portion of your life and also never spend time in His Word and expect to live the life He intended for you to live.

Make the verse above your daily prayer.  Ask God to help you seek Him and for Him to teach you His ways for your life.  Don’t put it off for another day.  Don’t wait until you have a problem or don’t wait until you don’t have problems ~ seize the day and start now.  Go after a closer walk with Him today regardless of where you are.  Don’t make excuses and don’t hold anything back.  He loves you!  He wants to lead you and He wants to fill you with the hope that is only found in Him!
