Philippians 4:12-13, “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
Paul wrote this letter to the Philippians while he was in prison in Rome! He wasn’t sitting all comfy in his home. He had been through it all and through it all he somehow learned to glorify God in it.
I don’t know what you are facing today, I know I have plenty on my plate, but we have a choice to make. How are we going to handle it today? As Greg Horn once said, “It’s not what happens to me, it’s what happens in me. It’s not the size of the problem, but how I handle the problem.” Other people see how you handle what you are going through and maybe today you really couldn’t care less what anyone thinks, but stop and think about the fact that God also sees it all. He wants to give you the strength and courage to stand! He wants you to hold on to the fact that He has a plan and He knows the answers, He just wants you to hold His hand and walk through this with Him! Don’t think about how long the journey may be, think about having victory today! As my friend Jo and I were saying yesterday, we need to look at the storms and frustrations and daily battles and every day we have a choice to get up and say, “Not today satan!” God’s got this! Don’t cave in to satan’s lies! If God has called you to it, He will see you through to the end! Don’t give up because of the adversity! Don’t listen to the lies! God wants to shine brighter through you today than He ever has!
