Praise Him

by | Aug 12, 2018

Psalm 59:16
But I will sing of your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble.

Ask God for an attitude of praise for Him today if you didn’t wake up with one! I love those mornings when I wake up feeling good about the day before it begins but let’s face it, girls, those days can sometimes be few and far between if we are focused on the struggles and heartaches we are facing instead of focusing on all that God is doing and has done for us!

If you are looking over your struggles this morning and just finding it difficult to think of something to be thankful for then start thanking Him for who He is! You will be amazed if you start praising God for all that He is how small those struggles will start to become! God is powerful and merciful, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He is the Creator of all, He is our deliverer, Redeemer, Father, and Friend. God is a god of love and compassion for all you are facing. He is The God of all who sees all. He is your refuge and strength. He is a god who can move those mountains for you! He is our Messiah, our hope and our refuge in times of trouble………..

Turn on some praise music and sing from your heart! Have you heard the song by Lauren Daigle, “Trust In You” (LISTEN HERE)Take a break today from all of your struggles and allow this to be your theme of the day? Pray for God to fill your day with all the reasons to find your peace in Him. It is much easier to hear Him speak into your life if you are in a mode of praise instead of stressed, worried and anxious about everything. The best is yet to come but it is time to really focus on The One that can bring it to pass!

    Dear Janet,
Thank you so much for the praise reminder!! The enemy loves to get us so focused on problems — instead of the One who has our solutions 🙂 Such an awesome reminder to keep our praise on!
