Remember What God Has Promised…

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.  He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”

Wow, satan is so sneaky!  He made sure he worded his question in a way that would make Eve point out what they were missing.  He didn’t come to her directly declaring that God wasn’t fair he was slyly getting Eve to think about what she was missing and the “goodness” of having it.  You cannot let your guard down for a moment.  Satan is constantly pushing his demon followers to distract you, discourage you and try to get you to question what God has said.  Take the time to remember what God has promised you!

Be careful that you don’t buy the lie that you are going to have to “do this yourself”.  There are times, of course, when we need to act, but there are times we need to take our hands off and allow God to do His thing!  Too often we get to that point in a struggle or storm and satan will start throwing lies at us to get us to think that it’s time for us to take the situation back because clearly, we are on our own.  Stop!  Don’t do it!  If you want God’s outcome then you are going to have to allow God to work!  You can’t keep taking it back and expect His outcome for your situation.  Seek His face!  Pour your heart out to Him and spend time in His word.  He has promised to direct your paths, but it is your choice whether or not you follow Him.  Don’t get ahead of Him.  Don’t get discouraged, He is working even when you can’t see it!  Satan is going to try to get you to think that the outcome is up to you, but that is only if you want less than God is trying to provide.  Your answer is only found in Him so trust Him and wait on Him, knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
