2 Chronicles 12:14
And he did evil, for he did not set his heart to seek the Lord.

Is your heart set or do you just allow your feelings to run you? You don’t have to feel right to do right and you will know to do right if your heart is set toward God. Ladies, it is a choice and there will be times in your life that you don’t really feel like doing what is laid out before you but choose in those moments to seek the Lord and to set your heart to do His will.

As a woman of God (and you are all women of God, you are His Princess) you will be faced with choices, changes, tasks and opportunities to serve and you aren’t always going to feel like it. That’s ok, just do what God is calling you to do and you may be amazed that the “feelings” will follow. (Remember though, you are not called to do everything, there are times others need the opportunity to serve, follow God’s lead)

Start today by making sure that you have a clean heart. Ask God to create a clean heart and a right attitude in you so you can hear His voice and you will be able to follow His lead. Ask Him if there are things you are supposed to do that you have ignored or pushed aside,maybe there’s someone who is hurting that you need to reach out to them. Maybe you are hurting and you need to seek godly women to walk with you.

Set your heart today to seek the Lord with your whole heart, mind and soul! Don’t miss out on the blessing of God by continuing to just do your own thing, allow Him full access to everything and everyone in your life. Satan would love to hold you back by keeping you “too busy” or complacent to have time to seek the Lord but don’t allow Him to have victory in your life, give it all to God! Choose to do what is right today in all that you do regardless of how you “feel” about it. As Dr. Bob Jones Sr. said, “Do Right Until the Stars Fall!”
