The Benefits of Face Timing With Him….

Psalm 46:1. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Whether your struggle today is big or small or beyond comprehension He can handle it.  He will give you the strength to endure and overcome!  He is your help so don’t turn to someone or something else.  Your answers need to be found in Him!

The world is a hot mess and if you aren’t all ready now is the time to put away anything that is hindering your walk with God and get serious about it.  The world can be a scary place but we don’t need to live in fear.  2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  And Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You.”  Go to Him with everything!  He wants the little stuff as well, don’t leave anything out.

Remember who you are!  If you have accepted the Lord as your Savior then you are a child of the Most High God.  You are His child and He loves you dearly.  He wants to be your strength even in the little stuff.  He wants a closer relationship with you.  He wants such a close relationship with you that when you get to heaven it’s like you are finally together after a long time apart with that precious friend and love of your life that you adore because you have been “Face Timing” with Him every day.  Do you ever do FaceTime with other people?  It drives me crazy because I look at myself and try fixing my hair and I wonder, “where did those wrinkles come from?”  “Oh look, I need to adjust my eye makeup!”  Seriously, it drives me crazy.  That is the wonderful idea about being face to face with God is the fact that it gives you the opportunity to remember who He is and His character and you can examine yourself to see what may need some adjusting.  Talking on the phone just isn’t as personal as Face Time is with those you love and yet it isn’t always comfortable.  God wants you to spend time alone with Him reading His Word and praying and listening.  Don’t miss out on it!  The wonderful thing is: He loves you and He will meet with you right where you are.  Yes, when we spend time with Him we become more aware of what needs to change in our lives, but it’s not a “condemnation” feeling, it is a loving parent leading a child into becoming all they can be.  He loves you!  Don’t miss out on any more time with Him!

Trust me, the storms in life will be easier to deal with if He is already in your boat.  You will be more secure and you will handle things better if you are walking closely with Him.  He wants to give you the strength for whatever your day may hold, but you must walk with Him!  Trust Him, knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
