Psalm 43:5 says, Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my God and my salvation.

Have you ever experienced a time in your life when nothing was working, every time you turned around something went wrong, you prayed and stayed faithful in your walk with God, but nothing was making any sense? Maybe you have been feeling that way lately and you just aren’t sure what to do any more because no matter what you have tried, nothing seems to be working.

Please hear me on this ~ the enemy is determined to defeat you and keep you down with depression, feelings of hopelessness, and with one attack after the next. If he can’t take you out he will try to cause enough turmoil and tell you enough lies to wear you down. But, you know that none of what has happened has escaped God’s notice and when the time is right He will be there with your answers. Every day from now until then He will walk with you through this if you let Him. You don’t have to sort it out, He will guide you. Maybe right now He wants you to focus on Him and slow down for a bit. In times like these there’s always something we can learn and it is usually something we need for what He has for us next. Ask Him to show you His plan and ask if there’s something you need to learn or a move you need to make. 

Trust Him and Seek His face. Remember that God specializes in taking what seems senseless today and He weaves it into something beyond anything you could possibly dream of for your future.
