There’s Hope ~ Trust His Plan

Psalm 136:1,26, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.  His love endures forever.”

In these times of chaos and uncertainty where or who do you put your trust in?  Are you clinging to everything turning out the way you feel it needs to turn out in the world or in your personal circumstances or do you fully trust God because He is always good and His love endures forever?

We need to be living lives that are pleasing to God and we need to be on our knees praying.  We need to be His hands and feet.  It is time to get intentional in your walk with God and your outreach.  God is not looking for people who fake it well, He is looking for people who genuinely want to seek Him and live lives that honor Him.  We are in a spiritual war and we need to arm up and that takes spending time alone with God.  He loves you more than words can say and He wants to be your strength and shield.

You must remember that God has a plan.  That is where your hope will come from.  We may not see what He is doing or understand it, but we can trust that God has a plan and nothing and no one can stop His plan.  Knowing that we need to do our part and open our hearts and minds up to all that He is saying.  Are there things in your life that need to go?  Have you dropped your standards over the years and you need to tighten those up a bit?  Is there something you need to add to your life like getting intentional about your time alone with Him?  Do you schedule time with God or do you just hope that you will have time for Him at some point in your day?  I have found that if I don’t plan it doesn’t happen.  I decided years ago that the only way to make sure it happens is to get up before everyone else in the house and have my time alone with God first thing in the morning.  That may work for you or maybe you need to do it just before bed, but schedule it, don’t just leave it to chance.

Allow God to give you His peace and hope today for all that you are facing.  Spend time alone with Him praying and reading your Bible.  Ask Him to show you His plan and for the strength to see it through.  Trust Him knowing that He is always good, He loves you, and truly His best is yet to come!
