Psalm 105:16-21 When God summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply of bread he had seen a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; until what He had said came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him; the ruler of the peoples set him free; he made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions.
Sometimes you are the one being delivered and God has sent someone before you to be there to help bring about His purpose and plan, and other times you may be the “Joseph”.
God always has the bigger picture in mind when He moves you and He is always prepared for what lies ahead.
Joseph had to really wonder if He was going to miss what he believed God had told him would happen in His life when he was sold and sent to Egypt and then one thing after the next went wrong in his life. He was punished for things he didn’t do on top of the fact that his own brothers sold him to be a slave. His life was anything but what he had dreamed it would be until one day…….. and it all changed.
Are you struggling with everything seeming to go wrong? Do you seem to pay the price for others decisions? Are you wondering if somehow you have just totally missed out on God’s will for your life? Don’t lose hope, your prison to palace day could be right around the bend.
Maybe you aren’t the “Joseph” maybe you are the one needing a “Joseph” to help deliver you. God has already prepared everything if you are following Him. God has sent the people before you to deliver you when the time comes, He isn’t surprised by what is going on. He knew what you needed before you did!
The key to it all is this ladies; whether you are the “Joseph” or you need a “Joseph” God is prepared and He will bring it to pass. It may seem as though you have waited forever but hang tight and trust God that He is working it all out. Trust me, I know how tough it is to wait on both sides of this but God’s victory comes in His time so trust Him.
