Trust God To Move In Your Life Today

Luke 11:11-13   What father among you, if his son asks for a fish will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion”  If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Are you tired of where you are?  Do you need victory in your life today?  Maybe you have just felt so weighed down you can barely function any more.  Whatever it is today I am encouraging you to claim these verses.  Pull out your Bible today and read chapter 11: 1-13 and claim what Jesus was telling His disciples.  Those promises are as much yours today as they were for the disciples the day Jesus spoke them to them.

Now, the first part of this chapter is as important as these verses:  we need to pray with the respect and humble heart that Jesus taught his disciples to pray with.  Make sure you are thinking about who you are talking to when you pray, go with a humble spirit and forgiving heart.  If you are holding grudges in your heart and are not forgiving then you may need to begin there.  Make sure you ask God to cleanse your heart and forgive you for any sin you have in your life and if you have sinned against someone else ask them to forgive you as well.  You want to start with a clean slate.  Be sure to pray with an attitude that will please Him.

God wants to heal your situation today!  He loves you and wants what is best for you just like a good Dad/Mom wants what is best for his/her children.  We need to do our part and seek God and His will for our lives.  God wants to move in your life in such a way that you can be better used by Him.  I even prayed this morning that God would move in such a way in my life that when others see it they can’t help but see that it had to be God!

Trust God to move in your life today.  Pray for Him to show you His desires and will for your life.  Don’t harbor grudges and un-forgiveness, choose to forgive and let the past go so you can move forward.  As long as you have that death grip on the past, whether it is because you want what you had before or you haven’t forgiven, either way you are stuck where you are and you can’t move forward.  Let it go and allow God to work in your life in a mighty way today.
