Walking In Confidence!

Hebrews 10:35-36. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.  For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

Do you have confidence today or did you already throw it away?  Maybe you don’t feel as though you have ever really been very confident so you don’t feel as though this applies to you.

He loves you more than words can say and He will show up mighty in your life if you will just cling to Him.

There is never a day in any of our lives where we don’t need God on some level.   God is always faithful and as it says in 1 Corinthians 4:2, “Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.”  We need to be faithful as well.  So if you are struggling, don’t throw in the towel and give up.  Stand strong and hold on to the confidence that He is walking with you and He will work all of these things out for good.  You may struggle to see how that is possible, but you can trust Him and His word!  If you don’t have any storms raging around you then now is the perfect time to be there for those who are!  What can you do today to show His love to them?

Now, where do you find confidence when you feel as though you don’t have any?  Our confidence is in Him!  Who does He say that you are?  You are a child of the Most-High God!  You are royalty!  You are forgiven!  You are loved!  You are strong in Him!  Start looking in His Word and pull out everything He has to say about Who you are in Him!  He loves you and your confidence should stand strong in that fact!  He doesn’t love one day and not the next.  He isn’t wishy-washy in His feelings toward you.  He knows what is best.  He knows how to use everything you go through, both the good and the bad to grow you into all He created you to be.  So, whether you are on a mountaintop right now or in a damp, dark pit in a valley, He can use this and He can bring you out stronger.  We seem to grow the most in the storms, but that’s no excuse to not grow on the mountaintop as well.  When you are on that mountaintop, take a look around and see how you can better serve Him.  Don’t wait for a storm to come to cling to Him!

Ask God today for His confidence to help you better serve Him.  Ask Him to grow you into all He created you to be and to help you to endure this season if it is calling for endurance.  God has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29: 11-13), He hasn’t forgotten.  Hold on to Him knowing that His best is yet to come!
