Isaiah 43:1-3a, But now, this is what the Lord says ~ He who created you, Jacob, He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; You are mine. When you pass t through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

The One who is able to redeem us from our sin and give us eternal life will also sustain you as you walk with Him. Life can be hard and at times downright overwhelming, but God hasn’t forgotten you. He is the God who sees, and He knows, and He promises to be right there with you, and at just the right time, He will show up mighty. Just stay faithful to Him.

Keep in mind, as you are going through that storm or season that feels like you are in the fire, and it just keeps getting hotter by the minute, that it is the enemy trying to take you out. As it says in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober-minded, be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”  He wants to plant seeds in your mind that God doesn’t see or care about you; he wants to make you angry with God for the circumstances the devil helped orchestrate in your life, so he will have you to himself to destroy you. Slam that door shut in his face and cling to God. All satan does is lie, and he will try to defeat you by attacking your thoughts, by using other people to lie and attack you, by getting you to stand in agreement, speaking those lies to yourself about yourself. Don’t go there, cling to your Creator, Redeemer, the one who calls you by name and says you are His. 

There is no doubt that we are living in the last days, and the world is so upside down and backwards at times, it is beyond comprehension how we got here so quickly. That’s because we can’t see all that is going on behind the scenes when it comes to spiritual warfare. Remember that as you look around, while the enemy is sneaky and we cannot see what He is doing, our God is greater, and you can’t see what He is working out either. So, hold onto your faith and hope in Him. He loves you, and if you will cling to Him and His Word, He will carry you out of that fire, and you won’t even smell like smoke. There’s no better time than now to throw yourself into seeking His face and getting to know Him more! He loves you, and He wants to work through you to do great and mighty things so others will come to know that He alone is God and His best is coming soon!
