“When The Right Times Comes…” Trust Him!

by | Oct 4, 2021

Isaiah 60:22b, “I, Adonai, when the right time comes, will quickly bring it about.”

God has a way of doing things very quickly!  I know, as you read that you are thinking, “what on earth are you talking about Janet, I have been waiting for an answer for years!” Me too!  But, here is what you need to keep in mind; as you are waiting, God is still at work and He can see when everything is in place so when it comes time, it happens quickly.  Now, there are things of course that take time and you can see a slow progression, but I am talking about those big things when all of a sudden…. It comes to pass!  All of a sudden, you go from that prison to palace, from working the field to owning the field, those things that God does quickly that reveal Him and His glory!

Don’t be discouraged as you wait, trust in God because He is faithful.  Give it all to Him, don’t tell Him how it needs to be done.  I am so guilty of that sometimes.  I find myself telling Him, “so, here’s what I need you to do and how to do it….”  Don’t get me wrong, you need to take it all to Him and then instead of telling Him to do it your way though, tell Him you want Him to do it in a way that will bring Him glory!  His ways are above our ways and His plans are by far better than our plans so why settle for less than His best for your situation.  He loves you so you know that if you tell Him to do what will bring Him glory and what is right that He will do what only He can do.  You can trust Him with it!  He has really been working on me to trust Him and stop telling Him how and what to do and instead to pour my heart out to Him and to expect Him to do what is right as a loving Father!  Give it to Him and get your hands off it!  Stop trying to work it out in your mind and stop letting satan feed your mind with his lies.  Pray and believe that His heart for that situation is to bring justice and to do what is best and right because that is who He is.  If there’s someone you need to forgive, forgive them and give them to Him so that isn’t standing in your way.  If there’s something in your life that needs to be added or removed then get on it and just do it, what are you waiting for?  Don’t be the thing that stands in the way of His promises.  No, we are not perfect and if He was waiting on that we would never get an answer to prayer, but He does expect us to be obedient in areas He has shown us.

Take it all to Him today!  Absolutely pour your heart out to Him and then instead of laying out the plan, ask Him to show up in a way that will bring Him glory and that when others see they will know it was Him!  When you do that you can trust that when the time is right, He will not only show up but He will do that thing quickly and heads will turn and recognize that it was Him!  Too often we are seeking our own glory or recognition and that is not what we are to be looking for.  We need to pray constantly for His glory to be revealed in our lives so others are drawn to Him.  Believe me, when God shows up mighty some heads will roll and others will turn, but there will be no mistaking that it was Him.  He loves you!  You can trust Him!  No matter what it may look like today, you can trust Him He has a plan and if you will allow Him to work it out in His way and His timing then truly HIs best is yet to come.  We may not understand why things are done the way they are while we are here on earth, but this is temporary and where we are headed is eternal ~ trust Him.  Wait for the “suddenly”.

So wonderfully stated!! In the wait for 4 years now. Thank you for such beautiful words that I’m certain speak to so many of us. Holding to the promise of Isiah 60:22. ❤️
