Proverbs 20:24. A man’s steps are from the Lord; how then can man understand his way?

There are so many times in life that we can look around and we have no idea why things are the way they are and at times it can be so bad that we wonder where God is in everything.  Somehow we get to the other side when things seem like they can’t get any worse and life never stopped, and if we allow God into those times we can grow to new levels.  God may not have ordained the situation you are facing, but He can use it to grow you into all He created you to be if you will seek Him and give it all to Him!

When we truly follow God and seek His will we can know that our steps are being ordered by the Lord and we know He always has our best interest at heart!  God has a plan and can see the whole picture of how things will turn out in the end so it is important for us to learn to trust in Him and allow Him to work as He sees fit.  I have had times in my life where I couldn’t understand why God wouldn’t allow me to do something even though it was something good and seemed to me, beneficial and yet I have to believe that there is a reason for His leading.  There are also times when I have gone through “the fire” wondering why God would allow it and yet knew I could trust Him to use it to work something new in me if I would just give it all to Him.  Even when you follow the Lord satan will attack you, in fact he has even more reason to seek you out because he is afraid of what you may accomplish if you continue in your walk with God.

I don’t know where God is leading you today, but know that even if you can’t understand it all, if you will just trust His heart in the matter you can know that you will find His best in the end.  Life is full of struggles and I wonder at times how people handle life without God. I would be lost not knowing that He is there loving me and helping me through it all.  I would encourage you to allow Him to lead you and protect you through it all and to know that even though you may not understand, He has a great plan for your life and the best is yet to come if you will just believe and trust Him to bring you to it!
