Where Will Your Help Come From?

by | Sep 11, 2012

Psalm 121:1-2  I lift my eyes to the hills.  From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

Does life just seem overwhelming lately?  Do you just hurt so bad inside that you can hardly stand it?  Where do you turn?  Where will your help come from?

God hears your prayers, He sees your heart and He knows your hurt and He wants to be your help!  He wants to be your knight in shining armor to rescue you and heal your broken heart!  He wants to lift you up to a new level and restore your joy and your hope in life!  No one can love you and care like He does and His love never stops, He will always be there!

When you feel as though you can no longer hold your head up for all the heaviness that is weighing you down, lift your eyes up to Him and seek His face, His love and mercy and expect Him to hear your cries for help!  Turn on some quiet praise and worship music, find a good message from God to listen to, find a good Bible study to get involved in and take your eyes off your situation and place them solely on Him until you receive your answer!  Don’t settle, be like Jacob when He hung on as he struggled all night with the angel of the Lord and said, “I will not let you go until you bless me!”  Dig in and hang on with all you have and trust God to deliver you!

We can be strong when we feel as though we have no strength left; Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”  God will give you His strength and grace for your situation if you totally rely on Him.  Don’t listen to the lies of Satan because he just wants to drag you down to make you feel as though you are alone and that God doesn’t see and doesn’t care.  You don’t have to listen to Satan, reject those thoughts and focus on God!

My prayer for all of us today is that God will give us the strength we need to be all we can be today and that we will have His favor in our situations.  I will be praying that God will guide each and everyone of us into His truth and that He will reveal any lies we are believing about our situations so we can have the true freedom and peace that only comes from the Lord!  And my prayer is also that we will keep our eyes on Him in all that we do today!
