John 15:10,  “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

If you love Him, you will keep His commandments and you will not only show His love, but you will know His love.  You are presented with choices every day.  God has laid out His guidelines for right and wrong, it’s not guesswork and satan will make his lies and temptations as attractive as he can to draw you away from God.  It’s amazing how far we have gotten from pursuing God and His holiness.  He loves us so much and He has set those guidelines for us, not to keep us from something good, but to keep us from evil and destruction.  Why do people choose satan’s lies over truth?  It appears to be because that is what is comfortable, they don’t want to change the way they live or even think, it’s easier to continue on with what is familiar.  How sad and oh how much they miss.

We can’t pick and choose which parts of God’s commands suit us, He is calling us to follow Him and to be the Light.  The world is going to reject that light on many levels, but there are those out there who need to see because they are looking for Him.  If we don’t choose to be different even when it isn’t comfortable then how will they see?  God is so patient, that is obvious, but the day is coming when each of us will give an account for how we lived and who we chose to follow.  Life is short here on earth, but think about how long eternity is…God’s love for you is immeasurable and He so desires to walk closely with you.  No matter what you have done, or where you are He loves you so much and He just wants to walk with you and guide you into all He created you to be.  His grace reaches beyond anything we can really comprehend.  I know that as a Mom, there’s nothing my children could ever do that would keep me from loving them and God’s love is more perfect and far-reaching than even the best of parents.  His desire is for you to spend eternity with Him, but He doesn’t want to wait, He wants to walk with you now!

Seek Him today.  Ask Him to show you what needs to be removed or added in order for you to grow in your walk with Him.  Trust Him, that even when it is uncomfortable, He is there.  He sees, He cares, and He knows the truth about it all.  He will walk with you through the storms, He can calm your storms, He will give you peace, and guide you if you will just choose Him and daily choose what He chooses.  Allow Him to fill you to overflowing with His love so others will see His love in you so they can have that hope that truly His best is yet to come if they will just choose to walk with Him.  The world needs Jesus!  Let His love and light for what is right flow through you so they can see Him!
