You Are a Princess

1 Samuel 13:13    And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly.  You have not kept the command of the Lord your God, with which he commanded you.”

Saul was the first king of Israel and he seemed to have difficulty behaving like a king.  He acted a bit like a spoiled brat at times when things didn’t happen his way or in his time.  Saul was king not a priest and he had no business offering a burnt sacrifice without Samuel there but he got impatient and tossed aside what He knew was right and lost God’s blessing.

You girl are royalty, do you act like it or do you forget sometimes?  Do you talk, walk and dress like a Princess?  Do you think about the fact that you are representing God, your King when you get dressed to go out?  When you speak do you sound like a Princess or a parlor maid?  How’s your attitude; is it one that reflects royalty or a spoiled brat?

Don’t miss out on the blessings of God because you have decided to do your own thing.  Honor God today in how you dress and with the words that come out of your mouth and with how you behave and treat others.  Ask God for His graciousness and His attitude today.  Honor Him in all that you do today and ask Him to help you make a habit of thinking intentionally every day about who you are in Jesus and how you can best reflect that.  If you can do that every morning for a month you will have developed an incredible habit that won’t just transform your life but will have a tremendous effect on others lives around you as well!
