Psalm 56:8, “You have kept count of my tossing; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?
Too often it is when we experience the greatest struggles and/or heartaches that we all of a sudden feel invisible. It’s as though your world has come to an abrupt halt while you watch as the rest of the world keeps flying by and that just seems to add to your pain. Is that you or someone you know today? Are you feeling alone?
God sees and not one tear you have cried has escaped His notice! He loves you and He wants to be by your side through the good, the bad, and the ugly. He wants to hear your heart so pour it all out to Him. He wants you to know that He loves you and He has a plan if you will just stick close by His side! Remember Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Carry that verse with you and when satan tries to fill you with his lies saying that no one cares and you are in this alone, you can remind him that you are never alone and God has a plan for you!
If you are not the one in that boat but you know of someone who is can I suggest that you reach out to them today even if it is just to let them know that you have their back in prayer. In fact, if you are the one who is hurting and you are feeling alone and invisible in your situation now would also be a good time for you to look for other people that you can encourage in the Lord and pray for as well. I have found that one of the greatest ways to find relief from your own problems is to find someone else you can encourage. Ask God to show you how you can be a blessing to others today. Let’s face it, we never really know all that someone else may be facing today and the world is so full of hatefulness that a little love will go a long way.
Ask God today to show you how you can be His hands and feet to those around you. Let’s strive to make sure that those around us know that they are not alone! Open yourself up to the needs of those around you. Allow God to fill you with His hope and love so it will just overflow, not just meeting your needs for His presence but also meeting the needs of those around you! Trust Him that truly His best is yet to come!
